Built by a Community: How the Kirtland Girls Soccer Team Became a Champion In-Person
Built by a Community: How the Kirtland Girls Soccer Team Became a Champion tells the remarkable story of how a small-town soccer program became one of Ohio's best. Drawing on more than a decade of firsthand coverage and exclusive interviews with players, coaches, parents, and supporters, sportswriter Steve Hare chronicles Kirtland's journey from a fledgling program in 2003 to its historic 2020 Division III state championship. Filled with behind-the-scenes stories, and personal reflections, the book is a celebration of perseverance, leadership, community, and the people who built a championship legacy.
